There is this roommate of mine “I really don’t like her” was my first impression. Sometimes she talks too much and sometimes she gets too quiet and most times she tries to place anyone that messes with her in the pit some of them actually belong. It isn’t as if we don’t talk but we aren’t really good conversationalists to each other. This morning she just asked me this unexpected unseen question. She asked “do you write?” and I told her I do then she responded that she knows her type.   At first it was as if I was deaf to what she said. Then I realized she actually meant that she writes too. When she saw that I picked interest in the fact that she writes, she told me of how she really would have loved to study English Literature ( infact she said if she is given an opportunity she would study it ) but her Dad refused to let her when she told him of her passion when she was in JSS 3. My friend keeps on complaining about her cousin’s friend. Her cousin’s friend she said uses her cousin and talks to people the way she wants. She said she is arrogant , rude, ungrateful and wicked but hardly talks. At first I thought my friend was just exaggerating because when she dislikes a person she can actually describe them wickedly, until yesterday (March 19, 2019) when my friend , her sister and I were having a chat in my friend’s room when my friend’s cousin’s friend came in (the one my friend so much resents) sat on the bed without even saying hi to any of us. Suddenly my friend’s cousin stood up and gave her some of the spaghetti my friend prepared, she ate and dropped the plate on the floor without saying “thank you”.
